Create your account
- Go to the registration page.
- Enter your name, email and a password, then click Register.
- You can also sign up instantly with Google or Facebook.
- You're ready to create — the free plan is included, no credit card required.
Use the Sign In page with your email and password. Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page to receive a reset link. Choose a strong password and keep your account secure.
2. Dashboard
After signing in you land on your Dashboard. It shows:
- Stat cards — total projects, videos created, AI generations and storage used.
- Usage chart — videos rendered and AI generations over the last 6 months.
- Recent renders — status and progress of your latest render jobs.
- Recent projects — quickly open any project in the editor.
Use the left sidebar to navigate: Dashboard, Create Video, Projects, Templates, Media Library, AI Voice Over, AI Image, Notifications and Profile.
3. Creating a Project
Click Create Video in the sidebar or the Create New Video button on the Dashboard. Choose how you want to start:
AI Promo
Enter your business/product details and let AI write a full script and storyboard for you.
Image to Video
Upload images and turn them into motion videos with Ken Burns, zoom, pan, fade and crossfade effects.
Product Ad
Create a product-focused advertisement video.
Social Media
Build videos sized for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp.
SlideShow
Combine images and text into a simple slideshow.
Edit Existing
Open and edit one of your previous projects.
Template
Start from a professionally designed template.
Project types & resolutions
Each project can be created at 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (vertical/Reels), 1:1 (square) or 4:5 (portrait), and rendered at 720p or 1080p.
5. Video Editor
The editor is where your video comes together. It has three main areas:
- Canvas (preview) — shows a live preview of your video at the chosen aspect ratio.
- Timeline — separate tracks for video, text and music. Drag clips to reorder, resize them to change duration.
- Properties panel — edit the selected clip: position, scale, rotation, opacity, animations and more.
Text layers
Add animated text with effects like fade, slide, zoom, bounce, typewriter and pop. Edit the text, color, font and timing directly on the canvas or in the properties panel.
Autosave, undo & redo
Your project autosaves as you work. Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) to redo. You can also save manually with the Save button.
Image-to-Video effects
Apply motion to still images: Ken Burns (slow zoom/pan), zoom in/out, pan left/right/up/down, fade, slide, crossfade between clips and blur.
6. Music
- Music library — browse built-in royalty-free tracks across 10+ categories and add them to your timeline.
- Upload your own — upload MP3, WAV or M4A files and use them in any project.
- Mix controls — adjust volume, add fade in/out, loop the track, and enable ducking (music automatically lowers while a voice-over speaks).
Tip: Make sure you have the rights to any music you upload. The built-in library is royalty-free.
7. AI Voice-Over
Give your video a professional voice-over generated on your own server:
- Open AI Voice Over from the sidebar.
- Type or paste your narration script.
- Choose the voice and language (English, Hindi or Hinglish).
- Click Generate — the audio is produced and saved to your project.
Generated voice-overs can be placed on the music/text timeline in the editor and combined with ducking so they stay clear above the music.
9. Templates
Skip the blank canvas:
- Open Templates from the sidebar (or the landing page).
- Preview templates across categories like Software Promotion, Mobile App, Product, Sale, Restaurant, Real Estate, Corporate, Festival, Instagram, YouTube, E-commerce, Facebook and WhatsApp.
- Click Use Template — a new project is created with the template's scenes, text and music, which you can fully customize in the editor.
10. AI Image Generator
Create unique visuals without leaving PromoForgeAI:
- Open AI Image from the sidebar.
- Describe the image you want (e.g., "modern smartphone on a gradient studio background").
- Choose the size and click Generate.
- The image is added to your Media Library and ready to use in any project.
11. Rendering & Export
When your project is ready:
- Click the Render / Export button in the editor or on the project page.
- Choose the resolution (720p or 1080p) and aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5).
- Rendering runs in the background — you can keep working or close the tab. Check progress on the project page or Dashboard's Recent Renders.
- When complete, the video exports as MP4 (H.264 + AAC). Download it from the project page.
Social-ready formats
Choose the perfect size for each platform — Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, WhatsApp Status — or export a custom resolution.
Note: Rendering requires FFmpeg on the server. Everything else (projects, media, AI scripts, voice) works even if rendering is unavailable.
12. Watermark
Exported videos can include a watermark configured by the site administrator:
- Position, opacity and size are configurable.
- Free-plan videos may carry the "PromoForgeAI" watermark.
- Higher subscription plans can remove or customize the watermark.
13. Brand Kit
Keep your videos on-brand automatically:
- Store your logo, brand colors, fonts and contact details in your Brand Kit.
- When you create an AI Promo, your brand identity is auto-applied to the script, colors and scenes.
14. Account & Notifications
Profile
- Update your name, email and profile picture from the Profile page.
- Change your password any time from the same page.
Notifications
Get notified when a render finishes, succeeds or fails. Open Notifications in the sidebar to review updates and mark them as read.
Subscription & limits
Your plan (Free / Starter / Professional / Business) determines storage space, feature limits and usage. See Pricing for the current plans.
15. Troubleshooting
Rendering runs in the background. Wait a minute or two and refresh — progress updates on each check. If it stays stuck, contact the administrator.
Confirm your server has Piper TTS configured (Admin → Settings) and that your project has a voice-over track on the timeline.
Check the file type (images, MP3/WAV/M4A, video) and that it is within your plan's size limit.
Click Regenerate on the script to get a new version, or refine the business/product description in the wizard.
The editor autosaves frequently. Open the project and check its latest saved state; undo/redo history resets on page reload.
Yes — pick a matching aspect ratio (9:16 for vertical platforms) and download the MP4, then upload it to any platform.
